Blue Ocean Organics was established in 1995 by Mark Anderson. Following his graduation from California State University, Fresno, where he earned a degree in Agriculture, Mark became a certified agronomist and spent over 25 years gaining experience and expertise in all aspects of organic farming. He is a licensed Pest Control Advisor and a respected industry leader well-known for his work with certification organizations in diagnosing problems in the field.
Launched by Mark as a small startup company, Blue Ocean Organics is now among the oldest and largest distributors of Peruvian Seabird Guano fertilizer. Having spent years fostering relationships with Peruvian processors, building a trusted staff in both the U.S. and Peru, and working closely with Homeland Security to ensure a smooth, reliable supply chain, Blue Ocean Organics is uniquely qualified to supply even the largest organic growers with abundant volumes of this superior fertilizer product.
